Second time staying at The Ness. Splashed out for the Luxury room and so pleased we did. The views were amazing, the bed was incredible, the bathroom (copper roll top bath with tv on wall) was perfect. Love this hotel so much. The food and drink are great, the staff are helpful and friendly, the breakfast was great and the location is perfect for what we like. Will keep going back in future! Can’t recommend highly enough! Trust me, you’ll love it!

Wow, what amazing food. Anyone doubting the cost of the flat iron steak, order it, the taste pays for itself. Isaac provided a fantastic service and tendered to our every need. This was our first experience here, definitely not our last.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Ness House. It was a last minute weekend getaway to take advantage of the lovely weather. We actually ended up staying an extra night.
Beautiful spacious rooms with excellent facilities. Staff were so helpful and thoroughly enjoyed our freshly cooked breakfast.
Lots to see and do in the area and no doubt we will be back. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately after eating here I’d only come back for a drink. My meal of mussels + fries plus a soft canned drink came to £23.27. Service was speedy and helpful when ordering at the bar.
The mussels, fries + GF roll was £17.25. The food came out very quickly. The mussels were from frozen (I was told this in advance but thought for the price they’d still be good so I risked it), tasted rubbery and the sauce was really underwhelming. The portion was on the smaller side too. The fries were nice but the gluten free roll was dry and no butter was served with it. My small canned drink was also £3.90! Overall a very disappointing meal considering the quality and price point.
Then there was the service charge of £2.12 automatically added to my bill, which I ordered at the bar. They did say it could be taken off, but being on the spot and not wanting to be rude I accepted it. The food came to the table without cutlery, condiments, or a napkin. I had to go up a few times, plus request a napkin as they’d run out. Again for automatically adding a service charge and the price point I didn’t think this was fair. It’s clear you’re paying for the view.

What a beautiful place to have dinner!
The food was amazing and the views across to Teignmouth are to die for.
Such a lovely pub. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.
Staff very friendly and helpful staff.
