    I bought a Porsche Boxster from them 18months ago with the agreement that paint imperfections would be corrected before collection. I was called 4 weeks after leaving a deposit to say the car was all done and ready for collection and was told that everything was done. I turned up to collect to find that only part of the paint work had been done. After an agreement that the paint work would be done at my convenience on a later date. I paid for the car and drove off thinking that all though inconvenient we would arrange a day to get it sorted. I have contacted the garage a number of times and each time there was an excuse as to why the painter was unable to do the work but they would get back to me to arrange a date. I have given up now knowing that I am simply being fobbed off with the same story every time. The car was also supposedly valeted before collection which was a joke also. I was was talking to another customer on the day of collection who also had been lied to, so it is clearly not just me. I clearly would not recommend this company and regret buying from them. Stay away. I remember perfectly that you called me to say that the car was all done for collection. I clearly remember asking you on the phone if all the agreed paint work was done and you said yes. If that wasn't a lie what was it? I stood there with my wife debating whether or not to buy the car because I was concerned that you could not be trusted a second time around. I have a list of times I contacted you to get this sorted. I stand by what I have posted and refuse to remove it as it is correct.

    We bought a Volvo V70 from Seymour Horwell last week and it has been great. Tim looked after us from the start, no pressure but all the information you want when needed. The car was wonderfully prepared, they made a s/h car look like new. All the staff, on the phone and in person were pleasant and helpful. Indeed the whole experience has exceeded our expectations. So nice to find a garage with such high standards of customer care. We came across several poor and second rate garages while searching for this car, so it was well worth travelling the extra 150 miles for this one. Thank You!

    A few months ago I was looking for a new vehicle and having spotted a nice looking contender at Seymour Horwell, I popped over a "fully refundable deposit" of £99. I spoke to a salesman and was told I would need to come in within a few days to finalise the sale. Unfortunately, circumstances changed and I wasn't able to purchase the vehicle, plus I had a lot of extra family related issues to sort out, so I wasn't able to go and look at/purchase the vehicle. As I was told there was a limit of a week or so on the deposit holding the vehicle, I expected the deposit to be refunded forthwith. It is now over four months later, and I still haven't received it. It is a shame as they are local, and they have some lovely second hand cars, but I cant see myself using them once I get around to finally sorting out my new car, as if they are going to be like that over a small deposit, what are they going to be like over larger issues with their vehicles that need sorting? **edit I have attempted contact on more than one occasion via email and have received no email in reply. Email or text is my preferred means of communication. Also It seems like someone at the office enjoys responding to the negative reviews, so thought I would add some more grist to the mill.

    Excellent service from start to finish, I would highly recommend and will now only be buying my cars from Seymour Horwell! I am so pleased I purchased my car from them. The entire process was easy, from initial purchase (even though I live quite far away) through to aftercare. I had to use the warranty after purchase, and I was amazed at how easy that process was. Pete the After Sales Manager is brilliant, he looked after the whole process for me and stayed in constant communication, I never had to chase. I fully expected dealing with a warranty to be a nightmare, but it could not have been easier. Everything was resolved with minimal fuss and minimal effort on my part, Pete and his team went out of their way to make the process as easy as possible and they were a pleasure to deal with. I recommend Seymour Horwell to all my friends, and tell everyone about the excellent client service I received, when its time to change my car, I'll only be going back to them.
