No communication, had to continually chase! Had vehicle for 3 days, would not listen to problem / fault and kept advising that it was not the issue, and charged for investigative work which was not needed as they would NOT listen! Treated me like I was stupid. I removed the vehicle from Swanson Ford as they just would not listen - but to be honest they did me a favour as I got it tested and fixed elsewhere for a fraction of the price that Swanson were suggesting they would charge if they had followed my advice.

Recently bought a 67 plate pickup truck off these guys. The car only had 18K miles on the clock so I thought I was getting a good deal. How wrong I was.
After having the car for less than a week the exhaust snapped off, caused by rust!
Exhausts do not just snap so why wasn’t this picked up in the pre-sale checks? The answer is no checks were done. Their customer service is shocking. Phone calls rarely get answered or there is an excuse. with a group of very immature workers working the front desk.
The car ended up having a new exhausted fitted and the whole underside of the car needed to be treated for rust!
This car was easily traceable back to being an ex RNLI car so that explains the rust.
Completely unacceptable selling a car for that price in that condition!
It is actually quite dangerous.
I will never buy here again.

We purchased our vehicle over the telephone and did not know what the vehicle was going to be like until it arrived. Needless to say the car was exactly as described, absolutely spotless paintwork and interior and drives like an absolute dream. We were reassured and put at ease by Micheal and James. From discussing expectations and requirements at booking, right through to completion, the service was second to none. There was active communication when needed, turned around in the time frame promised and to a great standard!
