From the initial visit I had a good feeling about Tor View Roofing. They even applied a temporary fix to my leaking dormer roofs during the initial visit. The quote was very detailed which allowed me to appreciate the cost. The work was carried out to a high standard and they managed to bring the job forwards to help me out due to another trade coming in behind them. The whole team are very professional, polite, and kept me informed at all times. The office was also excellent at keeping me informed and responding to my queries. Will use them again without hesitation.

Tor View roofing have completed a full re roof for us, installing a velux window, repointing the chimney and replacing rotten timbers from the dormer. We are extremely thankful for their professionalism and quality of work. Many people have commented on how well the roof looks. Communication has been excellent and all those that have worked tirelessly on the roof, regardless of the extreme weather conditions, have been polite and considerate of the impact of a 5 week schedule on our household. They have been particularly mindful of keeping areas tidy. Pricing was made clear from the start and a breakdown of costs and work to be carried out fully explained in our contract. A survey was initially done with photographs and explanation of works required, this was followed up by a discussion with Henry to clarify any queries in a relaxed non pressurised way. We had confidence in Henry and his team and they haven't let us down. We would happily recommend Tor View. Thank you.

Sam and Jimmy did a great job refurbishing our chimney: they were polite, professional, friendly and courteous. Steve displayed similar qualities when he did the initial quote, taking the time to explain what was needed and showing me the drone footage. Kazz has also been very helpful throughout keeping things coordinated. This is how business should be: generating long term success by putting the customer first.

Shame on Tor View Roofing
You don't tend to think of rogue tradesmen being in your neibourhood, they tend to be 'fly by nights' never seen again.
This company has prayed on a vulnerable, old lady leaving her out of packet with nowhere to turn.
This company has exhibited the worst type of 'roguary'. The company accepted a job fixing a leaky chimney - judging by their webpage - a perfect skill fit.
A man was sent to investigate and used a drone to view the roof despite the property being a bungalow and the chimney on the lowest part of the roof.
The man(men) spent some time fiddling with the roof tiles, replaced some 'chipped' tiles and told the homeowner, an 80yr old widow, that it was fixed.
An invoice for £3000 was sent without any details of materials or hours worked and paid.
Despite the'fix' the water continued to show inside the house. After numerous phone calls another man turned up but said there was nothing he could see.
Many phone calls later - most unanswered or followed with promises to phone back, the latest response has been "stop phoning, go away, we can't fix it"!

Would you recommend to your 'elderly relatives' a company that undertook work, failed to rectify the issue, walked away leaving the homeowner in the same condition, and presented a one line invoice for such a large sum?
It is not "...a small damp patch" but stretches across the chimney breast, down the wall and ceiling.
You say this is a condensation problem. Does your 'expertise' not stretch to a solution?
I'm pleased that you have helpful staff but someone certainly left my relative feeling alone, helpless and with a continuing problem.

Tor View roofing have been wonderful, the quality of work is just spot on! Henry came to the project after our previous roofer who was working at the house failed to complete and made many mistakes. The house is a complicated project with many valleys, gables and chimneys etc and being grade 2 listed. Much of the work done needed re doing correctly and Henry and the gang at Tor View Roofing took on a daunting job to rectify the mistakes and complete, all the work was done to a very high standard and also within the time frame Henry quoted us. We have learnt that paying the right money to the right roofers you get it done right! I will most certainly use Tor View Roofing on all future projects and recommend him to anyone wanting a 1st class job. Henry's team Jimmy, Sam, Steve and Kiam are the nicest people to have working at your property, they are tidy, polite and keen on working long full days. Debra and I are so pleased with everything they have done.
