Does lots of takeaways and the restaurant is a side-business. Food is great and you can bring your own booze without corkage.... So amazing value ....

Ordering was confusing and the food was disappointing.
I ordered through the website, opting for an 8pm delivery - you choose this up front. So I placed my order - Saag paneer, veggie korma and rice. That's one main, one side and the rice - (this was intended to be for two people to share). At the end of ordering, you are again offered to select a delivery time... the times were very different to those offered at the beginning so I chose 8.25pm. That'd do. Except when confirming the order, my delivery time of 8.55pm was confirmed. Not ideal, but it had taken a lot of brain power to get to this point with the order, so we'll wait.
The delivery was pretty much SPOT ON 8:55pm, so that was impressive. But when I opened the food, I realised this would NOT be enough for two people (with small appetites, btw). The paneer was a side, so I expected that to be small. The korma, however, was a plastic tub of korma sauce with 3 or 4 small pieces of potato, a few peas and 4 1-to-2 inch slices of green beans. This basically had the main part of the meal missing entirely. The sauce tasted nice, but I was just annoyed that I then had to prepare more food to actually provide a meal.
I won't be ordering from them again.

Food was spot on! 241 on mains is a bargain 👌 staff friendly, lots of Indians in the area. Although decor is more simple this is definitely the best food in newton i’ve tried!

If you like a hot 🔥 curry then this is the place. Most places I ask for the vindaloo to be extra hot, but not this place. Blew my head off. 10/10
