We held our wedding reception here and we are so glad we choose this venue. The staff went above and beyond on the day and in the lead up to the event. All of our guests commented on how amazing the food was and the beautiful setting. The added bonus was the decor is already so nice that you don't need to go wild with adding anything extra. We popped in on our way to our final destination and they fitted us in perfectly. The staff were amazing. Really friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. They answered all our questions. The food was spectacular. We chose the fixed price three course meal with wine and it was excellent value for money and very, very tasty. Just the right portion sizes so we didn’t feel stuffed. We then had a gentle stroll along the river taking in the breathtaking views. A lovely evening all round.

Really cozy, comfortable pub, stylish ambiance with 2 fire places and plenty of space also for large groups. The service is ok but not excellent- we needed to remind a couple of time and you need to be patient. Good choice of drinks and excellent cocktails. The food was really good but some choices were not available already even if we were really early. All il all we had a wonderful evening. I do recommend but you need to book in advance. Ask your have a table near the window in order to enjoy the view. In summer you may sit outside.

My partner and I came here for a date lunch with the chocolate doggo! Incredible service from Alexs and Tim today! We felt very welcome and no request was too stupid! Lunch set course was an absolute bargain. Drinks were lush and the restaurant is very beautiful and incredible views! Thank you!

Only called in for a drink at this splendid riverside gastropub and we weren’t disappointed. Superb location, ample parking (even the potholes are clearly marked so you can avoid them!) and magnificent views over the River Teign.
Friendly service in a nicely decorated bar area, where dogs are permitted.
The restaurant area is separate and we hope to try it in the not too distant future!
