Have stayed here many times, the atmosphere and food is great. Emma is the most welcoming of hosts and the food Andy prepares is excellent, it's tasty and you don't leave hungry! Looking forward to coming again in June!

Not often I say this, but if I could rate the Cockhaven Arms 6 stars I would without any doubt. We stayed here last week, once again we had a fabulous time. A warm welcome on arrival, then following a drink from the bar, we were shown to our large spacious dog friendly room. Large bathroom with his & hers sink, stand alone bath & large rainfall shower. Bar & restaurant warm & comfortable ideal for interaction between other guests and locals. Emma gave time for a chat despite being busy, which was nice. Food from the restaurant excellent once again ..... freshly prepared & very tasty, Andy doing a great job, certainly knows his stuff. Breakfast was served at a decent time, help yourself cereal & fruit, order taken for cooked food, which was hot, tasty & freshly prepared. Large carpark, lovely dog friendly garden with undercover seat for adverse weather. This is a little gem ..... we will definitely be going back soon.

We stayed as it was convenient for visiting family. Fantastic find, rooms were beautiful and clean. Breakfast was tasty and more than enough. The staff were really friendly.
We will be back again…. What a gem 💎

We stayed in room 8 which was a lovely big room with a massive bathroom with two sinks.
It was quiet overnight.
The food in the restaurant was very nice especially the Bass.
The restaurant does get very busy so best to book a table.
The staff were all very personable.
Good choice at breakfast.

After sitting in traffic for 5 hours and eventually arriving at our lodgings, we found the Cockhaven Arms. It was fabulous, a lovely welcome and fabulous food and the home cooked pies really hit the mark. Brucey our pug said thankyou for his treats.
