Lovely restaurant/pub. The young lady on arrival was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Food was amazing, only criticism was the child's ham sandwich, not sure about the dressed salad for a child. Would definitely return!

Unreal location for pitching up the camper, the lots are hard standing and very well maintained, toilet and shower facilities are immaculate and hardly any road noise. The staff are amazing, very friendly and welcoming, the food is unreal and reasonably priced, very good quality and portion sizes.
Very dog friendly; definitely more welcoming than anywhere else we’ve been!Would most definitely be booking back here again, worth the 3 hour drive!Kirstie, Chris, JJ and Rio x

Stopped over here for a night with my campervan. Found on Pitchup but booked online via their website (£25 a night without electric).I arrived at about 8pm no problem. Check in at the bar when you arrive, they were very friendly. There is a barrier they lift for you to enter the site (autonomic release when you want to drive out). The spots are allocated and hedged in, containing hard standing and grass sections. There is lighting throughout. The toilets and shower were excellent, obviously recently refurbished and very clean. There is a big disabled toilet, laundry, wash up, grey water etc. Didn't spot a changing table but may have been in the ladies. There was a little road noise but it settled down overnight and is covered by the sound of the river adjacent. Very little Vodafone mobile signal, the pub has WiFi but I didn't have the password. The pub offers food packs and cooked breakfast (and dinner) but I was off early.Overall a very new, neat and tidy site attached to a good looking pub. Minimal Vodafone signal but good for a stopover or to explore Dartmoor.

What a great camping stop over coming from the delayed ferry. No problem checking in later as the pub stays open til 10pm. We felt most welcome and had a delicious meal. We were able to leave early and get on the road in the morning. Easy access from A36 about 45min from plymouth.

Didn’t stay at the Inn, instead had a lovely meal and very huge thanks to Dave our server. He was great entertainment. Food was amazing, only thing was it took a bit longer than usual to come out, probably because it’s just so fresh! Not complaining. Strong recommend. FYI Not good phone service here - take in the views!
