I had roast beef and pork with the trimmings. The beef was lovely, and the pork is a bit dry. I also had macaroni cheese, but some of the pasta was rock hard. The green beans are not cooked enough to my liking. The cauliflower cheese was nice.Got a 25% off from the app, so it was still a good filling dinner.

Food was a little dry. Pork was well past serving, looked like it had been sitting for weeks. Turkey and beef were good. Yorkshires were dry and cold due to sitting on a chair behind the server. Vegetables choice was very limited and also dry probably due to the servers being in the kitchen all the while instead of giving the veg a stir now and again. Potatoes were excellent. Felt very sorry for the poor lady that was , manning the reservation desk , serving drinks , getting the chefs out the kitchen, cleaning tables and sweeping the floor. Don't think we will return.

Has changed massively. Used to be one of the best places to go, not today! Paid extra for King Size so should have got extra meat, 2 sausages and an extra Yorkshire. On mentioning this to the man carving the meat he said the king size does not include extra meat (it says it on the first sentence). Refill drinks machine was broken so only cold drinks were the bottled ones which cost at least £3.50 a time for a small bottle. Also ordered drinks and finally got them about 20 minutes later when halfway through the meal. Glad we had a voucher for discount as would not have been impressed if paid full price.

All you can eat full English breakfast... what can go wrong? I also had toast and marmalade chaser, well and truly set up for the day! Staff very attentive too, all good and hot, and brought out freshly fried eggs too. Love their bacon. Real treat.

First experience at a Toby Carvery, and not impressed with the meal. Firstly praise for the waitress who even asked had we any allergy’s. We had the carvery, the plates were cold, the Yorkshires were cold, I had Turkey and Gammon which was cooked ok, the roast potatoes were cold and tough the inside of the roasters were empty, the dwarf beans had been under the lights that long they had dried up and and should have been in the bin likewise the carrots. The cauliflower cheese was reasonable but look warm the only decent vegetable was the peas. The gravy was hot as well. Such a pity as was looking forward to the meal. Possibly I had picked the wrong time to go at 1730hrs.
